What is the difference between the 22Ah battery and the 24Ah battery? Why would I upgrade?
Simply put both versions will fit in your application and will work fine. As the dimensions of the 12 Volt 22Ah battery and the 12 Volt 24Ah battery are the same, they are interchangeable. Please be aware that the 24Ah is slightly taller in size.  Check you dimension according to the data sheets.  However, in most cases the 24Ah battery will fit fine.  Amp-Hours basically show how much energy a battery holds. As long as the battery you want to replace has the same voltage and dimensions it is okay to substitute it with a different Ah replacement. Keep in mind that in most cases as the Ah rating goes up so does the size of the battery!

In summary it is all a matter of your preference. If you don’t mind paying a little more for the 24Ah version you will receive a higher capacity battery, which can offer you a longer runtime.

Warranty Information

One year limited mfg warranty. The capacity of all rechargeable batteries will decline over time depending on the use and charging/discharging process. This is considered normal and therefore, a reduction in battery capacity is not covered under warranty. The battery is only warranted from defects in material or workmanship resulting in failures. Reduced runtime is not warranted and will vary depending on the power management settings and configurations that are set as well as the number of times the battery has been charged and discharged. Please be advised that rechargeable batteries are considered 'consumable products' and warranty coverage is limited.

    Great Battery

    Bought this for my electric golf cart. The last battery I bought lasted 7 years so I was due. Purchased the 22ah again over the original equipment of 18ah, perhaps that is why it lasted so long. With the new battery the overall speed is back as with the old run the last few rounds it struggled to keep up with me and didn't last a full round.

    Very satisfied with quality and price on that product. My only concern was with the place of terminals, which inverted, and it's my fault cause I didn't pay attention to that at time of shopping, having a look on all suggestions of Google. But I have installed it with modification of wiring inside my power booster.

    Excellent Service & Delivery

    Can't really comment on the battery life since I've only just received them. But so far they have performed very well on 2 occasions. What I will comment on is the exceptional delivery & service. Ordered them on a holiday Monday and received them, at my door, on Wednesday.

    Not happy with OEM battery, was suggested this AGM for my '98 V-MAX 1200K. Love it. Perfect fit and more than enough power to crank engine over. Took a bit to get used to sideways mounted posts (bolts/nuts/washers included) but, made it work. Last NEW Lead battery I purchased lasted one (1) season before it died. From all the reports I've seen, I'm looking at many, many years of trouble-free service.

    Amazing batteries

    I had to replace my identical battery because it got flooded in my boat. These will last through anything (besides a bath) and hold charge even after cold Canadian winters being stored outside in a boat. Plus I ordered this battery from batteryspecialist.ca and got it the next very day!

    original UB12220k works fine!

    Thanks Batteryspecialist for sending me exactly what I ordered. Not all sites will send you an original UB as depicted but may send you their "equivalent". Battery came fully charged. I used it for 1.25 hours on my SP tennis ball machine. It took 3 times as long to charge afterwards compared to the UB12210 21Ah that died, which I take as as good thing. Will see if it lasts as long!
